A friend asked me today what I thought about xiaxue ‘the blogger’

My reply:

She’s just a typical singaporean bimbo ( pardon me the loose use of the word)
whom the local media supports.
It refers to someone whose only brain commands are airbrush , blur and smudge.
As an object, she not that interesting , but the subject which intrigues me is the amount of hate-mongers that surrounds her. Same goes for the Dawn Yeo saga.

Keeth likes to believe that young? singaporeans are not a malicious bunch of monkeys that would rather not spend their bolio time supporting the white elephant movement, as opposed to commenting whether the cleaner that whites pappies should get a fashion makeover

Social Phenomenon

An opinion is the most important commodity in the new information age. With blogs in sprouting all over the internet, proves my point.They generate money. Google’s trademark pagerank depends on bloggers and technorati specifically caters to blog searches. Even having an opinion is not sufficient , only when it is critical then it is highly valued.

My friends around me have created their own blogs, it’s about time I started work on my own. Not because of peer pressure but because I believe it helps to organise,sharpen my thoughts and assist me in chrono-logging my ideas, interest and beliefs (read religion)

I dont have a theme for blog yet, most of blogs I read are either aki blogs, christians blogs , polictical blogs or curse-everyone blogs. I’ll just post what I have thought through or even upload some of my sketchs/renderings.

Arena 2020

The Arena 2020 project is a conceptual mixed-use development that explores the concept of a major sports leisure facility as a nucleus for urban regeneration and revitalisation. The project incorporates a central multi-use event space that may be utilised as a stadium for rugby and football, an indoor multi-event arena and a concention exhibition centre. The central event space is surrounded by a band of urban park-land that links the arena to a perimeter building which contains both supoort facilities for the event space as well as retail, commercial and accommodation faciltites that serve both the arena and the city. In this sense , 2020 is a functioning entity of city fabric where people can be seen every day of the week not just on event days.

The avilability of public space in future cities will be at a premium, and building footprints will have to be minimised to increas the availability of open public spaces. The Arena 2020 project amalgamtes a convention exhibition centre , stadium and arena into a multi-purpose event facility that economises on space and maximises flexibility.
