Anyway , adapted from mother Theresa

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies.
Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you.
Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight.
Create anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, will often be forgotten.
Do good anyway.
Give the best you have, and it will never be enough.
Give your best anyway.
In the final analysis, it is between you and God.
It was never between you and them anyway.

I’m Yours
The lyrics are fabulous!
But I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I’m yours
Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you’re free
Look into your heart and you’ll find love love love love
Listen to the music of the moment people, dance and sing
We’re just one big family
And it’s our God-forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved
So I won’t hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I’m sure
There’s no need to complicate, our time is short
This is our fate, I’m yours
Also this month’s economist ran an interesting article on Human evolution and Music.
“
Like real cheesecake, music sates an appetite that nature cannot. Human appetites for food evolved at a time when the sugar and fat which are the main ingredients of cheesecake were scarce. In the past, no one would ever have found enough of either of these energy-rich foods to become obese, so a strong desire to eat them evolved, together with little limit beyond a full stomach to stop people eating too much. So it is with music. A brain devoted to turning sound into meaning is tickled by an oversupply of tone, melody and rhythm. Singing is auditory masturbation to satisfy this craving. Playing musical instruments is auditory pornography. Both sate an appetite that is there beyond its strict biological need.

Merry Christmas
A diamond shines no brighter
than that lovely Christmas star.
It shines in all its brilliance;
Its seen from near or afar.
A symbol of the Christ-child
as He lay upon the hay,
It tells to all the waiting world
a King was born that day.
Give us strength and hope and courage
to do our best by far
And never falter in our faith
as we watch that Christmas star

Proverbs 22:9
“A generous man will himself be blessed, for he shares his food with the poor.” Pr22:9 NIV
I seldom write about religion but this one is funnily true….
A holy man was having a conversation with God one day and said, ‘God, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.’
God led the holy man to two doors.
He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.
In the middle of the room was a large round table. In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew, which smelled delicious and made the holy man’s mouth water.
The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly. They appeared to be famished.
They were holding spoons with very long handles, that were strapped to their arms and each found it impossible to reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.
But because the handle was longer than their arms, they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
God said, ‘You have seen Hell.’
They went to the next room and opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.
There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made the holy man’s mouth water.
The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here the people were well nourished and plump, laughing and talking. The holy man said, ‘I don’t understand.’
It is simple,’ said God. ‘It requires but one skill.
You see they have learned to feed each other, while the greedy think only of themselves.’

Prayers
Boss , thanks for answering my prayers on her successful exchange application,
I pray for her safety and your protection over her. I know she wants her right of free speech,
may I have rights to sanctions as well but dont give her the rights to free bullets!
I pray too for wisdom in my decisions I make and the choices I take,
plus enlighten me on your intentions as well,it is not a piece-of-cake.
I dont understand why this video on this particular day and wake.
All this I pray in the names of the Father, the Son and the Holy spirit for God’s Sake!

Conversations
How true , it reminded me of a conversation I had with someone about what type animal would one be. I was laughed at when I chose to be like an ant (although ants arn’t animals), reason for that I can carry 50 times my own ‘weight’ despite my size. What escaped me was the fact that ants being tiny in size are easily exterminated(stomped out) while aimlessly scurrying around looking for bits of sugar. DejaVu Haha I have a memory better than that of an elephant .
I wonder if there is still any more sweetness left in all this bitterness …
God: Hello. Did you call me?
Me: Called you? No.. Who is this?
God: This is GOD. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.
Me: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of something.
God: What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.
Me: Don’t know. But I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic. It’s rush hour all the time.
God: Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time.Productivity frees it.
Me: I understand. But I still can’t figure out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.
God: Well I wanted to resolve your fight for time,by giving you some. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.
Me: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?
God: Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.
Me: why are we then constantly unhappy?
God: Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.
Me: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?
God: Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.
Me: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty.
God: Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.
Me: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?
God: Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer. With that experience their life become better not bitter.
Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?
God: Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.
Me: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why can’t we be free from problems?
God: Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enhance Mental Strength.
Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you are free from problems.
Me: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading..
God: If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.
Me: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction.. What should I do?
God: Success is a measure as decided by others.Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you road ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.
Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?
God: Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.
Me: What surprises you about people?
God: When they suffer they ask, ‘why me?’ When they prosper, they never ask ‘Why me’. Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the truth.
Me: Sometimes I ask, who am I, why am I here. I can’t get the answer.
God: Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not merely a process of discovery but a process of co-creation. You are my co-creator.
Me: How can I get the best out of life?
God: Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.
Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.
God: There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.
Me: Thank you for this wonderful chat.
God: Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear.. Don’t believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.
‘Life is not measured by the number of breaths we
take but by the moments that took our breath away!

My Two-Faced Girlfriend aka Hello Ani!
Yes Mr God I know you are speaking.. sometimes I think I’m crazy for reading into stuff too deep, Not sure what you are telling me thru this show , but I’ll note down the parallels for future reference.

“Gu-Chang doesn’t have job, money and he haven’t had any girl friends before. He is a total loser. One day his life is totally changed. At least that’s what he thought. He met this cute, naive and dreamy girl named Ani. She is perfect for him. Except the fact that she has multiple personality disorder. Ani has one more person within her, Hani. Hani is tough, violent and a scary girl. Gu-Chang doesn’t want to meet Hani but he only wants to see Ani. Where are you, Ani? “
- Main character Gu-Chang is mucking and bumming in college choosing not to graduate
- He meets this beautiful girl on a train sitting opposite each other , he was scared out of this pants by the her ghastly first impression
- Hani , the dominant other side of ani , is tough and unwavering , though she still exudes a softer side by allowing Guchang to call out(awake up) ani.
- Ani asks Gu Chang to be her lighthouse on the beach ( this portion of the script is totally irrelevant to the movie I suppose it alludes to the boss) requesting him to stand further and further towards the shoreline and then she disappears.
- Hani is finally cured of her multiple personality disorder , but ani is lost in the process
- GuChang stalks her the park where she frequently jogs
- GuChang tries to run away when Hani caught him stalking her, both of them sit down and Guchang recall to her of their past dating years
- Guchang tells Hani of the secrets Ani told him, like how when she misses her other half, birds will start chirping in her ears

If only I can get the supposed person to watch it with me, maybe the pieces of the jigsaw somehow might just fit together
Well everyone’s a skeptic , including myself , but still it’s a hilarious film to waste ur time on
